About half-way through the extraction, I get the error: "Data error (cyclic redundancy check)" and then the install quits. This is using the network installation download from Microsoft. The install works fine on other machines, but not this one. Any help you could offer is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Brice Mason.

"Tape extraction error" on custom install
The other things seem to be working okay but I still cannot extract from a database running as a server service - only a database running under the local database engine. Are there any new flags or permissions that I need? If I go into sybase central I can start the database that it created no problem.

In trying to install of SP1 I chose a Custom installation and I am back at the error message "Setup cannot continue because files are missing from the installation directory. Please run Setup again and choose Resume Setup. This will download the missing files and continue." I do that and it puts me in a loop.
